Dynamic Functional Connectivity

Definition: Dynamic Functional Connectivity (dFC) also called time-varying connectivity, refers to the changes in functional connectivity over time. In contrast to conventional steady state connectivity analyses, dFC analysis aims to capture the dynamic nature of brain activity and the flexible reorganization of functional coupling between brain regions or networks that occur in response to changes in task demands, environmental stimuli, or at rest.
