Hyperscanning
Definition: The simultaneous recording of brain activity from more than one person. Typically, a hyperscanning setup is used when the relationship between the participants’ brain activities is of interest, thus during hyperscanning studies the participants are able to communicate with one another either verbally or non-verbally, for example by being in the same room or by seeing each other’s actions.
