I am a PhD student and am working on integrating a wireless fNIRS system with other measurement methods for applications in alzheimer's disease and dimentia prevention and treatment. I am making a ninjaNIRS 2020 protoype but as I checked the NinjaNIRS 2020 site, there is no BOM list for dual optode module except component list in the Optode Assembly Document (Table 1). However, I am struggling in searching these component based on the information provided, especially components with the part number begins with BZB-. It looks like these components have internal part number instead manufacture part number.
Could you please provide or suggest the sites that I can search and order components for dual optode module, especially optical components?
In addition, is there update about the uploading plan of the ninjaNIRS 2021 to opennirs site?

Hi,
The components for NinjaNIRS 2021 will start appearing on the site next week with all design and production documents on the site by the end of January. I will find the BOM for the 2020 optode PCBs and attach it here when I get it. The two PCBs that are in the optode are custom manufactured but all components on the boards are off the shelf and can be purchased through digikey or mouser stock permitting. The light pipes are standard acrylic optical fiber and are cut down and polished to the lengths specified in the optode assembly protocol. The optical filter on line 8 of table 1 is a kodak wratten 2 No. 70 filter cut to size with the detector.

Could you please provide the BOM for Dual optode PCB 1 schematics that I can search and order components for dual optode module?

However,there is another question that bothers me.Could tou please tell me that in all BOMs,if the component does not appear in the BOM, does it not need to be SMD?

@amy-fang All of the components on the PCB are surface mount. Which component(s) are you referring to?
@wjobrien Sorry, my previous statement may not be accurate.Do components that are not shown in the provided BOM require SMT? For example, PD1 and U4 don't appear in the file U01_DetectorOnly_v01_BOM. Could you please tell me whether they require SMT?
