MacOS Ventura not compatible with Matlab 2017-2019 - Stand-alone version?

I am struggling to combine my MacOS system Ventura with the right Matlab version in order to install Homer3.

Homer3 seems to be only compatible with Matlab versions from 2017-2019b. However, MacOS Ventura does not support these earlier Matlab versions, I always get error messages when trying to install Matlab 2019b.

a) Would the stand-alone version work? b) Maybe there is somebody out there who had the same issue and could help me solve it?

I think it is worth trying matlab 2020b or 2021b or 2022b

I think others are doing that without trouble... I may be wrong

Thanks for the quick answer! Before I buy another Matlab version (I am already driving our university IT department crazy) - can anybody confirm that Homer3 works on Matlab 2022b? T

Hey David! I'd love to use Homer3 for my upcoming analysis, especially since I was in Boston for the 2019 launch and workshop. Unfortunately, my university only supports the latest version of Matlab. I was forced (by the university upgrade software and licensing) to upgrade to version 2023a today (or I'd have to pay for Matlab out of pocket). Now, I cannot seem to get Homer3 to work with Matlab or with Runtime. Will there be a patch coming?
