I used AtlasViewer before to measure the variation beween different probe placements while it was part of the Homer2 package with no issues. Recently, I tried the new stand alone Version of AtlasViewer (v2.12.12) with Matlab2019b on my Windows10 PC but I encountered an error in plotProbePlacementVariation (line 418) "Unable to perform assignment because the size of the left side is 12-by-4 and the size of the right side is 13-by-4".
That was bugging me, so I tried the old AtlasViewer (v2.8_p2.1) with the same data (I redid all the steps with the old version, but used the same digpts.txt files as before) and it works perfectly.
For now, I will use the old AtlasViewer, but maybe this thread will help you to fix this issue.
If you need the atlasviewer.mat files or any additional information, please let me know.

Thanks for pointing this out. We didn't know if anyone was using this variation of probe placement tool and thus weren't checking whether or not it still worked. We will try to get this working again in the future.
