When I use tPCA I get an error message. I've attached that as a screenshot. Does anyone have an idea how I could solve this

Wow. Thank for finding that error. That code hasn't changed in 15months. I am surprised we are just finding this issue now. I need to go back and check with Jay about this code to see why the array tInc is treated both as an regular array, i.e. tInc(), and as a cell array, i.e. tInc{}.
We will get this fixed soon.
Verena, this issue has been fixed now. Please try after updating your homer into the latest github version, and let us know if you still have issues.

Unfortunately, I now get an error with GLM that I didn't have before the update. I have attached a screenshot. Can you help me here again or is it due to my data?

You have have more luck using hmrR_GLM (not hmrR_GLM_new, which is less stable/more experimental)
