Hi,
I'm confused about the output from this feature
In the Homer3 GUI seems to be presenting in μM (In my data roughly somewhere between 0 and 0.5)
Image attached GUI.jpg
If I take the .txt file from Export > HRF Mean
and 'open with excel' the numbers are tiny (e.g. 0.000000289553) and unusable.
However if I import data from Text/CSV into excel the same mean is given as 2.89553e-07, which is usable, but seems to be too big, given the display in Homer3.
Is it a case of moving the decimal place to give μM. I just want to make sure I'm reporting the right value.
I have used a PPF of 6,6 if that makes any difference.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris,
If you used a dpf, e.g. as in your case 6 6
HOMER GUI results are in μM
Export results are in M
If you had 1 1 in the dpf field, it does not do the correction so the units will be:
HOMER GUI results in μM mm
Export results in M mm
Also M is for Molar (not moles)
Hope this helps.
