Homer2/3 uses a script written originally by Behnam Molavi and later adapted by Rob Cooper for homer and modified by Sabrina Brigadoi. The "iqr" input to this function is a **constant** *to be multiplied by the actual IQR* to set the outliers.

% iqr: parameter used to compute the statistics (iqr = 1.5 means 1.5 times the % interquartile range and is usually used to detect outliers). % Increasing it, it will delete less coefficients.

Hope this helps,

Meryem

]]>I am using Homer3 to work on a processing stream that includes the MotionCorrectWavelet function and have a question about the iqr setting. Should the input for the iqr setting be an interquartile range we want to use or an alpha? I'm assuming it's the actual interquartile range but have found a paper (authors used Homer2) that introduced some doubt.
