Prune Channels

Hello,

During my data analysis I use block averaging and GLM. For both processing streams, I use the hmrR_PruneChannels function. In the Homer3 display, I can see the excluded channels, as well as in the betta coefficients data (betta coefficients for excluded channels are shown as 0). However, in the block average output, these channels don't appear to be excluded. I was wondering what was the reason for this.

Thanks!

Michal Levin

I was also wondering if it's possible to exclude channels from the calculations manually. Thank you.

Hi, I wrote a code for excluding the unwanted channels in the block average output

@michallevin This is the best way to do this going forward. The manual exclusion tool doesn't work quite right for Subject and Group level analysis and we will discontinue support for it in a future version of Homer3.

We will support exclusion (at the trial level) via motion correction approaches and stim filtering, however.
