ninjaCap assembling

Dear all,

maybe this question seems a little bit off, but we're currently trying to print our first ninjaCap and are still a bit puzzled what the best approach would be to assemble all three parts. Glue? Tape? Print something that can hold both ends of each part?
Also since the parts seem not to overlap most of the time and bending it already broke some minor things (printed with normal PLA). Do we miss something obvious or can someone give some advices if they have established some good workflow for that?

You have to print with ninjaFlex... totally won't work with PLA. It is much harder to print ninjaFlex than PLA.

To connect the panels, we use an ultrasonic welder that looks like this one here and pictured below.

We do have a paper under review with many more details about the process of fabricating ninjaCaps. We haven't put it on a bioRxiv yet. Hopefully we can share it soon. Stay tuned.
