Hello. I'm trying to install homer 3. I added the extracted file to my MATLAB path but, whenever I launch the setpath, I get this error:

>> setpaths
Unrecognized function or variable 'setpaths'.

Does any one know how to solve it?

Looks like you downloaded the Homer3 executable, not the Homer3 scripts for running in matlab itself.

Go back to github and read the installation instructions here to set things up properly.

Any idea what's going on? I'm really clueless about it. Thanks in advance! Really!

Yep, I see that you are clueless.

Follow the link I gave above. It will take you to

https://github.com/BUNPC/Homer3/wiki/Download-and-Installation

From the error message, it looks like you are trying to install for a windows machine. Your matlab shows files that indicate that you installed the executable version of Homer, not the matlab version of Homer.

If you carefully read the instructions at

https://github.com/BUNPC/Homer3/wiki/Download-and-Installation

just scroll down a little but further from the top of the page.. and you will find instructions for

"Installing and running Homer3 from source in MATLAB:"

Please read more before posting more issues.
