Dear fNIRS society,

Me and Dr. Mojtaba Soltanlou are trying to load the dataset of the FRESH project (in '.snirf' format) using the Nirstoolbox (or Brain AnalyzIR). However, we faced some bugs related to importing '.snirf'. format of data to the toolbox.

We tried to fix this bug. But still, we are not able to load the data. The toolbox works very well with the '.nirs' format but I think no one ever tried this toolbox for the new data format '.snirf'.

We will appreciate your help or hints related to this topic.

Hadi and Mojtaba

Would be great if Ted Huppert can get this toolbox snirf compliant. Have you talked with him. He was very supportive of creating snirf. It must just be a small issue that needs resolving.

@dboas Dear David,

We converted the data from ".snirf" to ".nirs" by Homer3.

Everything is ok.

Thanks for Homer3 and you

I have resolved these import issues and will share the solution with Ted. In the meantime, you can place this modified file in "+nirs\+util".

@kstubbs thanks for doing that. The file didn't attach though. Maybe you were blocked from attaching it. Was it bigger than 1MB? I doubt it. What is the extension of the file?

@dboas My pleasure! It was a 14 KB *.m file. Here's a link instead: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rnx5zco4arx56a6/snirf2data.m?dl=0
